At Window Film Austin, we talk a lot about the customer service aspect of our business. We feel that this is something that truly sets us apart from our competitors. Working with us is much different than working with a mobile contractor who runs their business out of their truck. We provide in home consultations, assign each of our clients a project manager, and so on. We truly go above and beyond for our customers.
So when someone recognizes our hard work, it feels pretty good. In fact, just recently, we were given a pretty big award. We say this not to brag, but rather to acknowledge the hard work of our employees. Without them, none of the things we do today would be possible. That’s why we’re so excited about this recent award! Without further ado, we’d like to announce that earlier this year, our parent company, Scottish Window Tinting, was named a winner of the 2019 Colorado Companies to Watch program!
Why We’re Excited
Being a winner of the Colorado Companies to Watch award is a huge honor. Hundreds of companies apply each year, but only 50 winners are chosen. Companies must be in the second-stage of their development, meaning that they’ve advanced past the point of being a start-up. In other words, winning this award is kind of a big deal! Again, we say this not to brag, but to express our gratitude for our employees and customers. Without you, this dream would not be possible, so thanks again!

Mike Kinsey is a window film expert. For the past 10 years, he has been working as the Operations Manager at Window Film Austin and overseeing commercial and residential window film installs of all types throughout the Austin area and the state of Texas. His extensive background in construction and project management gives him an in-depth understanding of architecture and the structural composition of buildings. Over the years, he and his team have installed over 250,000 square feet of window film ranging from robust security films to progressive energy efficient and decorative options. Mike engages in professional development courses and seminars on a regular basis, allowing him to stay up to date on industry trends and innovations. He is one of the top experts in his field and is certified by 3M, EnerLogic, and AIA for continuing education.
